AGM - 29 Oct

The club will be holding its AGM on Sunday the 29th October @ 11am till 12noon
Location : Lyndhurst Secondary College Gym Training Venue

The meeting is to talk about the past 12+ months and to vote in your new committee for the next 12 months. The club requests the presence of at least one parent per family to attend the meeting which is compulsory. Nomination forms, Minutes from the last AGM and Role descriptions can be found in the Events section of Team App where you are encouraged to RSVP. Nomination forms are to be signed & completed by no later than Friday 27th October and returned to the Secretary via email at: secretary@mpbc.au

Annual General Meetings are based on the Clubs Association Rules where we must have at minimum of 10% of members in attendance for the meeting to go ahead. Currently the club has 400+ members registered which means we require 40+ members over the age of 18 to attend the meeting for it to go ahead.

Failure to meet the number of members required at the meeting the following will occur.
*The club will fold.
*All committee members will be removed from their positions.
*All members will be disqualified from playing.
*All monies within the clubs account will be taken over and managed by Consumer Affairs Victoria (No money will be refunded to members).
*All teams will have to be removed from Casey Basketball Associations system immediately.
*The club will no longer exist and the name can never be used again.

As part of any non for profit organisation, we rely solely on parents within the club to donate their time by becoming a committee member. For any club to move forward and grow we welcome new members to the committee. So if you feel you can assist and help the club grow, please nominate yourself or someone who has agreed to take on a role.

So, in closing, please attend the meeting and do it for the children of this amazing club, as they are the ones who will be punished by all parents’ decision to not attend.
